I'm finishing the old year and starting the new year by looking at stacked up email and links. One terrific Readers Advisor resource I've found is the Readersadvisoronline.com blog. The blog started in June 2007 and has lots of information and tips.

The Reader's Advisor Online is available by subscription only. But the RAO Blog is free at http://www.readersadvisoronline.com! Published by Libraries Unlimited and Greenwood Publishing Group, the blog features articles by RA experts, news alerts, lists, and links. If you follow a link from the RAO Blog to the Reader's Advisor Online, be aware that you must be a registered user to access the full content of the Reader's Advisor Online.

"We hope it will be the first place reader's advisors will go on Monday mornings as they prepare to serve their patrons in the coming week, and at the start of each shift for a quick update of what's happening in the world of books," says Blog editor Cindy Orr of Cleveland Public Library.
